I'm Bella Andra, the founder of She Speaks - my story began at a young age when someone who was an intimate person in my family circle made me feel uncomfortable in various situations. The sexual assault went on for many years, I was put in situations where I wasn't able to get out and saying "NO" wasn't working. Years later, I was able to speak up about the ongoing assault and I was removed from that situation and eventually began my healing journey. As a survivor, I had a burden of trauma I thought was going to stick with me forever, but throughout my healing journey I was able find strength through my pain. I began channeling my trauma into a powerful mission, creating She Speaks. I have created a safe space where young girls can find the resources they need to heal and to provide those girls with the tools they need to confidently handle any situations that may occur. My commitment to healing and empowerment became a beacon of hope, having the opportunity to begin leading my "Get Your No Heard" workshops and self defense classes for all ages.
